New York City-based Web measurement firm Media Metrix named Jim D’Arcangelo as
senior vice president, marketing and business development.

In this new position, D’Arcangelo will be responsible for product marketing
across Media Metrix’ audience measurement, technology measurement and e-
commerce product lines. He will also lead the company in the development of
new business initiatives. He reports to Mary Ann Packo, president and chief
operating officer of Media Metrix.

Prior to joining Media Metrix, D’Arcangelo served as Group President of
Telecommunication for NFO Worldwide, where he was responsible for the NYPM
Yellow Pages Audience Measurement unit, NFO Ad Impact and NFO
Telecommunications. Prior to NFO, he was a partner at The Kelsey Group, a
consulting group specializing in telecommunications and interactive
businesses.

In the early 1990s, D’Arcangelo was head of national sales and marketing at
Bell Atlantic Directory Services and served on the first Bell Atlantic
Interactive Transaction & Advertising “Scout” Team–giving him an early
introduction to the online world.
