The market for open source networking monitor tools is getting crowded. Tossed in the pot with recent offerings from Hyperic and Zenoss is the latest from GroundWork Open Source, which is out this week with a new version of its Monitor Enterprise suite.
With the 6.3 release, GWOS is offering additional features for large-scale networking environments, as well as new visualization technology. Network management vendor GroundWork Open Source (GWOS) is updating its flagship product suite this week with the release of GroundWork Monitor Enterprise 6.3.
The new GroundWork Monitor release includes improved network visualization technology as well as enhanced monitoring features for large networks. The updated version comes as the market for open source network monitoring technology expands, with rivals including Zenoss and Hyperic focusing on virtualization and cloud deployments.
