HP Targets SMBs With New Network Access Point

HP’s networking division has expanded greatly since the company’s $2.7 billion purchase of 3Com earlier this year. Now the newly named HP Networking group is starting to roll out products that leverage technology assets HP gained as part of the 3Com purchase.

As Small Business Computing reports, HP has unveiled wireless access and unified communications products specifically designed for small and midsized businesses.


HP is expanding its networking and unified communications (UC) offerings for small and midsized business this week with new technologies built on the company

s $2.7 billion acquisition of 3Com earlier this year.


The new offerings include the HP V-M200 802.11n Wi-Fi Access Point for small businesses.
