Oracle Updates Exalogic and Exadata Engineered Systems

The new Exadata Database Machine X4 is Oracle’s fifth-generation Exadata system. The Exadata system firstdebuted back in 2008 and has been updated multiple times since. The Exadata X3 system was announced back in October of 2012.

“The Oracle Exadata Database Machine is the best platform on which to run the Oracle Database, and the X4 release extends that value proposition,” said Oracle President Mark Hurd in a statement.
