Thoma Bravo Sells Network Instruments to JDSU for $200 Million

JDSU is continuing its push into the enterprise networking space this week with the announcement of plans to acquire Network Instruments. JDSU will pay $200 million in cash for Network Instruments. The deal is set to close within the next 45 days.

Network Instruments was acquired by private equity group Thoma Bravo back in April of 2012 for an undisclosed sum. At the time, Thoma Bravo acquired a controlling interest in the company from Network Instruments founders Roman Olynick and Douglas Smith.
