Digital River, Connectix Partner to Sell Software Online

ESD firm Digital River in Minneapolis entered a partner deal with Connectix Corp., a provider of computer and Internet enhancement products, to sell Connectix software products through Digital River’s network of online dealers.


Connectix products, including RAM Doubler, Speed Doubler, Surf Express, and
Digital Radar are now available for download through Digital River’s network
of more than 250 dealer sites. Financial terms of the arrangement were not
disclosed.


Consumers can also access Connectix downloadable products directly from the
Connectix Web site with direct links to product-specific pages on reseller
sites Cyberian Outpost and MicroWarehouse.


Said Chester Rice, director of channel sales for San Mateo, CA-based
Connectix: “Digital River’s dealer network provides us with access to millions
of potential buyers through one valuable resource. We have identified a whole
new channel for our products.”


Digital River said it now offers more than 100,000 software packages and
digital products.
