Skunk Technologies Inc., a provider of
interactive, Java-based sales process automation apps, and INTERSHOP Communications Inc. formed a
partnership to deliver an interactive e-commerce solution.

Skunk’s SESSIONS and INTERSHOP 3 combined to offer a comprehensive e-commerce
solution to companies that want to convert lost sales into incremental revenue
and add premium customer support with increased productivity, the companies
said.

With a SESSIONS and INTERSHOP-enabled Web site, online businesses and
customers can advance beyond static Web sites and e-mail deployment, and
enable real-time interaction with sales, customer service and technical
support representatives in an enriched, visual, real-time collaboration
environment, the firms added.

“Working together with INTERSHOP and their award-winning technology,
we’re able to provide a complete transaction solution and transform flat Web
sites into a live, personal, relationship-building medium,” said Anthony Bell, CEO and president of Skunk Technologies.

INTERSHOP 3 features storefront creation tools, business management
functionality and secure electronic transactions.

SESSIONS provides interactive functionality to static Web sites by extending
real-time visual collaboration beyond the enterprise to customers, supply
chain partners and employees.

“Successful Internet merchants generate most of their sales from repeat
purchases, so it is in their interest to entice customers to come back,” said
Stephan Schambach, president and CEO of INTERSHOP Communications. “SESSIONS is
in line with this trend and adds value by taking advantage of the back-end
integration features of INTERSHOP 3.”

Skunk Technologies and INTERSHOP will offer joint sales and marketing
activities, technical and integration support, and shared business resources.
