Cisco Teams With Citrix in Virtualization Push

    The networking giant has inked a partnership with Citrix, bringing the virtualization firm’s XenDesktop product into its Unified Computing System in an integration that delivers a new Desktop Virtualization solution. CIO Update takes a look.


    Citrix’s XenDesktop is being integrated with Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) to deliver a new Cisco Desktop Virtualization Solution.

    The solution builds on the power of Cisco’s UCS servers which offer extended memory and virtualization support. The Cisco Desktop Virtualization Solution is intended to let enterprises deliver virtual Windows desktops to end users.
