BlueArc Corporation, provider enterprise network storage systems, today announced the expansion of its executive staff; promoting Dr. Geoff Barrall to executive vice president and welcoming Shmuel Shottan as the company’s senior vice president of product development.
The comany said that as executive vice president of BlueArc, Dr. Barrall will manage the technology roadmap of the company and focus on his role as chief technology officer.
In his new role as senior vice president of product development, Mr. Shottan will manage BlueArc’s UK and U.S.-based engineering team, reporting directly to Mr. Pesatori.
Most recently, Mr. Shottan was the chief strategy officer for SNAP Appliances, Inc..
