Companies to Deliver SAN Solutions to Korean Market

McDATA(R) Corp. announced this week that it has partnered with HiTRON Systems to resell McDATA’s line of storage area network (SAN) products in the Korean market. McDATA said the partnership expands the scope of its global customer base, while providing customers within the Republic of Korea full-service, integrated, enterprise-wide SAN solutions.


“The agreement with McDATA, the worldwide leader in the SAN market, is significant to HiTRON,” said Mr. Y.D. Choi, CEO of HiTRON. “As HiTRON’s aggressive business development team continues to grow, this partnership will allow us to maintain superior positioning in the Korean SAN integration market by providing McDATA’s market leading products, software and services for our customers.”


As part of the agreement, HiTRON becomes McDATA’s first Korean enterprise SAN integrator in its Elite Partner Program. McDATA provides its Elite Partners with a comprehensive support program to deliver SAN solutions and services, including products, training programs, and engineering, sales and services support.
