Sep 28, 2001

DataCore(TM) Software, a provider of storage virtualization and networking software, today announced the addition of digital Storage, a provider of RAID storage solutions for Europe, to the DataCore SANvantage(TM) Technical Partner Program.

“By joining the SANvantage Technical Partner Program, digital Storage is working with DataCore to offer seamless implementations aimed at companies that store large amounts of media-driven data including government entities,” said Alain Chanry, digital Storage general manager. “This technical partnership facilitates the exchange of SAN business information which ultimately benefits the end-user.”

digital Storage said it targets storage requirements for the video/multimedia production and newspaper publishing industries. The RAID systems support the digital storage network architecture with DataCore’s SANsymphony(TM) software.

“Storage virtualization is a critical development in the management and control of the network storage infrastructure, including RAID technology,” said Ken Horner, vice president of marketing at DataCore. “DataCore recognizes the value of establishing an alliance with digital Storage to deliver compatible solutions for the growing storage networking marketplace.”
