McDATA(R) Corp., a provider of open storage networking solutions, recently announced the appointment of Linda Dill to the position of vice president, Investor Relations.
Dill reports to Janet Cooper, McDATA chief financial officer and senior vice president of Finance and Administration.
“Linda brings a demonstrated track record of successfully leading proactive investor relations programs for several competitive, technology-focused companies,” said Cooper. “We are excited that she has joined our team at McDATA.”
Prior to joining McDATA, Dill held a number of finance and investor relations positions, including vice president, Investor Relations at Requisite Technology; vice president, Strategic Planning and Investor Relations at Corporate Express; vice president, Investor Relations at TCI Communications Inc.; and managing director of Investor Relations at AMR Corp., the holding company for American Airlines and The SABRE Group. During her seven-year tenure at AMR, she held various finance positions including principal–corporate development and controller– finance and planning.
Dill received her master of business administration from the University of Texas and her bachelor of science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
