The latest technologies, vendor solutions and the current state of industry standards will be highlighted at NetWorld+Interop 2001, taking place May 6-11, 2001 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Conference organizer Key3Media Group Inc. announced that the networking, Internet and telecommunications event, will highlight the growing importance of networked storage as leading educators and vendors showcase strategic solutions.
The presenter promised to feature recognized leaders in the storage industry, including Adaptec, ADIC, Brocade, DataCore, DLTtape, EMC, Emulex Corporation, Exabyte Corporation, Legato, Network Appliance, Quantum ATL, Shomiti Systems, Inc., StorageTek and VERITAS Software, as well as industry organizations including the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) and the Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA).
The FCIA Solutions Pavilion, located in booth number 2955, will allow attendees to see a Storage Area Network (SAN) in operation.
The Interop Conference Networked Storage Track, chaired by Anne Skamarock, senior analyst for Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), will present attendees with a clear understanding of the current issues, as well as the benefits and risks associated with employing a networked storage solution. Taking place on Wednesday, May 9, 2001, scheduled sessions for this track include Planning for Networked Storage, Security and Networked Storage, Managing Your Networked Storage, and Real-Life Experiences with Networked Storage.
