nStor and Avant Networks Sign Distributor Agreement


nStor Technologies Inc. has signed a distributor agreement with Avant Networks to offer storage solutions in the Asia Pacific region. Avant Networks, a provider of network and infrastructure products in the Asian market, will now offer nStor’s NexStor Fibre Channel and SCSI RAID solutions to its customer base.


“As we looked to enter the information storage market in Asia, we found that nStor had a robust storage offering that also complemented our server business,” said Keith Wan, CEO of Avant Networks. “NexStor solutions offer the high levels of density, speed and reliability that are critical to our customers in the ISP, ASP, telecommunications and government sectors. We are delighted to be working with nStor to bring these innovative, high-performance products to market.”

Avant Networks plans to offer the NexStor Fibre Channel and SCSI RAID solutions as stand-alone products or bundled with its line of servers. Avant and nStor will jointly provide customer service and support.
