Storability Appoints Ruskin VP of Sales

Oct 4, 2001

Storability Inc., a provider of automated storage assurance services, announced that Rick Ruskin has been named vice president of Sales.

The company said Ruskin brings more than 18 years of high-tech sales and business development experience to the Storability executive team. He will oversee sales operations worldwide for the company.

Ruskin joins Storability from MTI Corp., an enterprise storage solutions company, where he was executive vice president/officer. He first joined MTI in 1990 as the northeast regional sales manager. He was awarded the Sales Manager of the Year Award for three consecutive years at MTI. In 1994, he was promoted to area vice president, then later to senior vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to joining MTI, he served in senior management positions at Systems Industries Corp., a computer data storage company.

“Rick is a solid, aggressive sales executive who has a successful track record selling into Fortune 1000 and telco companies. He’s a great fit for our organization and the timing is right,” said Matthew Westover, Storability CEO. “Storability has tremendous momentum and a growing presence in these markets thanks to the success of our managed storage services and AssuredStorage Management System. Rick and his sales team will play a leadership role in taking Storability to the next level by growing the business and helping secure key customer accounts.”
