The software based agent and search engine Agent25.com is a Web tool that allows users to keep track of when their company, product, or other keywords that they select, is mentioned in the major news sites.

The software agent searches over 150 Swedish news sites using six agents with different keywords. After registration, the user can personalize the information they want the agent to search for. The agent then finds the information and reports back to the user with its findings.

“Our customers do not have the time to wait on the press cutting that are produced today”, says Matti Palm, the chief editor of Agent25.com.

Behind Agent25.com are Interaktiv Tid and the content partner 25timmar. Both are parts of the Spray group of companies.

Once again, we see a new solution that uses the Internet as a vehicle to present results faster than a traditional solution — and it’s free to use.

This can definitely be a threat to established companies like Observer that has similar service.
