SAN FRANCISCO, July 14–CNET Networks ,
the trusted source of information for buyers, sellers and suppliers,
announced a new service to improve the efficiency of suppliers and sellers
of technology products. As part of this channel initiative, CNET has acquired Apollo Solutions, which provides
a Web-based application where Value Added Resellers, IT consultants and
resellers can access real-time product information, pricing, and
availability from multiple manufacturers and distributors, increasing the
efficiency of the channel. CNET has completed the purchase of the remaining
80.1 percent for a combination of approximately $2 million cash and
approximately 300,000 shares of CNET stock.

world’s leading supplier of eBusiness application software, announced the
acquisition of MOHR Development of Ridgefield, Connecticut, a
privately held provider of sales training solutions and consulting services
focusing on the financial services, manufacturing, and technology business
sectors. Siebel Systems will
incorporate MOHR solutions and
expertise in Siebel MultiChannel Services, which provide organizations with
the skills, processes and management disciplines they need to translate
channel strategy into revenue growth. Financial terms of the acquisition
were not disclosed.

announced that it is acquiring LAN Media Corporation (LMC), a privately
held, Silicon Valley-based firm specializing in high-performance wide area
network connectivity products for high-end multi protocol routers,
switches, and network servers. Under the terms of the transaction, SBE will issue approximately 300,000 new
shares of its common stock to LMC shareholders and will assume LMC
outstanding stock options. The transaction is valued at approximately $8
million.

CLEARWATER, Fla., July 14–Matrix Technology Group, a new
generation technology consolidation company announced an agreement to
acquire Lodgistics.com, a leader in Web based CRM and ETA software
technologies. Lodgistics.com
solutions are marketing execution and productivity measurement tools that
allow businesses to interact with customers, other businesses and internal
resources faster, more effectively and more intelligently. The agreement
between Matrix and Lodgistics is an agreement in which Matrix will exchange
its own shares for that of Lodgistics so that Lodgistics becomes a wholly
owned subsidiary of Matrix.
