[Mississauga, CANADA] Bid.Com International Inc., a global provider of dynamic pricing solutions, formed a strategic marketing alliance with ecwebworks Inc., a provider of business-to-business electronic document exchange services.

Under the alliance, Bid.Com and ecwebworks will market each other’s offerings to existing and future customers, and will work together to develop solutions that facilitate online commercial transactions for organizations involved in B2B activities.

Ecwebworks’ applications automate and accelerate the processing of documents used in commercial transactions such as purchase orders and invoices. Bid.Com’s suite of dynamic pricing solutions enable organizations to gain benefits from online buying and selling activities.

Bid.Com’s technology allows organizations that want to recover the value of surplus assets to quickly modify their prices in response to changing market conditions. By offering a bundled solution, Bid.Com and ecwebworks customers will be able to reduce transaction costs and optimize their supply chains.

Ecwebworks and Bid.Com’s solutions are offered through an application service provider (ASP) environment, eliminating the need for costly and lengthy software installations.

Ecwebworks is a privately-held company that provides XML, EDI and Web-based document exchange services to companies in the e-commerce global marketplace.

Bid.Com offers a suite of online dynamic pricing solutions for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) markets. Its multiple online transaction methods include fixed price, traditional auction, real-time declining price (Dutch) auction and reverse auctions within the same package. Customers and partners include GE Capital, News International Inc., Research In Motion, CapGemini, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
