German E-Commerce Magazine Headed for Newsstands

January marks the first issue of e-commerce

, a magazine focused on all aspects of the German e-commerce
industry.


The first edition will have a run of 45,000 in addition to the 120,000
copies which come as supplements in other IWT publications, the magazine’s owner.
This total run of 165,000 copies makes e-commerce Magazin the
largest specialist German periodical for the online business.


The newsstand edition of the magazine also includes a special 16-page
supplement. Each edition of the “magazine within a magazine” will deal with
a special topic in the field of e-commerce. The special is worth keeping
and gives the reader durable practical information.


The lead in January 1999 is “an easy way into electronic commerce.” The
January number will appear on German, Austrian and Swiss newsstands
February 12, for an introductory price of DEM 7.80.


E-commerce offers SME decision-makers, business managers, other management
and department heads good basic know-how, valuable aids to decision-making
and practical solutions to optimize their online business and Internet
technologies. It improves business success with new ideas, trends and
expert analysis, according to the publishers.
