Big Picture Technologies Inc. announced that GT Group Telecom Services Corp., a
Canadian telecommunications service provider, selected a private
label version of eMERCHANT pro as its flagship ‘e-commerce in a box’
solution.

Set to be released to Group Telecom’s customers by year end, the private
label offering will incorporate all features and functionality of Big
Picture’s eMERCHANT pro, with a distinctive user interface featuring
Group Telecom’s corporate logo and signature style.

eMERCHANT pro offers what a small or home office business needs to
develop and launch an interactive, e-commerce site quickly. The product
comes with templates to create customized sites, automatic registration
of domain names, ‘back end’ facilities for secure credit card processing
and full shopping cart functionality.

Michael Anthony, Big Picture president & CEO, hailed the relationship
with GT Group Telecom as “a significant first for Big Picture.” He said
Big Picture has primarily focused on marketing eMERCHANT pro through the
retail channel in the U.S. whereas this relationship with Group Telecom
opens an entirely new, royalty-based revenue stream for the product with
ISPs, ASPs and other telecom services.

At a recent national news conference in Toronto, Group Telecom outlined
its plans to expand to key markets across Canada. Now operational in Vancouver, Calgary and
Toronto, it will offer services in Edmonton, Victoria and Montreal by
March 2000.
