EDEN PRAIRIE, July 12–IntraNet Solutions , a leading provider of Web content management software for the
enterprise, announced a strategic acquisition of InfoAgent Solutions
BV, an authorized integrator of IntraNet Solutions’ software
products for Continental Europe. IntraNet Solutions will gain experienced
sales and support staff and have access to InfoAgent’s extensive
international client base which includes resellers and system integrators
in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Spain, Germany,
Switzerland and Austria. Financial terms were not disclosed.

increased its commitment to online gaming by acquiring Kansas-based
NetGames USA, a leading developer of scoring, matchmaking and other
enhancements for retail and Web-based games. The acquisition will enhance
the competitiveness of games on Microsoft’s Zone.com and further solidify the site as
the Internet’s best location to play games with players from around the

REDWOOD CITY, July 12–NetObjects
announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire
privately-held Rocktide, a provider of the next generation
application service provider (ASP) technology and wireless e-Services that
will help Web-enable businesses worldwide. This acquisition furthers NetObjects’ objective to be number one
in reach through large-scale distribution with partners and to offer the
industry’s leading integrated B2B e-Services by building and acquiring key
ASP technologies and e-Services. NetObjects will acquire all of Rocktide’s
stock for $3.6 million of NetObjects common stock and $400,000 cash.

AUSTIN, July 12–Hoover’s announced that
it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Powerize.com,
a developer of content integration and syndication technology, and operator
of a business research Web site with more than 600,000 registered members.
Hoover’s will use Powerize.com’s technology to syndi

its tools and Hoover’s content and services to Web sites, including
corporate intranets, enterprise information portals and
business-to-business vertical and content sites, including Hoover’s Online.
Under the terms of the agreement, Hoover’s will pay approximately $17.1
million in cash and stock, including 1.48 million shares and $2.42 million
in cash.
