Microforum to Acquire Technology from P2P3 Systems, Inc.

[Toronto, CANADA] Microforum Inc. agreed to acquire certain assets of P2P3 Systems, Inc., including its two proprietary customer relationship management applications systems, P2Plive! and P2Pengine, which allow a company to interact “live” with visitors to their site. Terms were not disclosed.

As part of the transaction, Microforum will employ key personnel of P2P3, including its two co-founders, Mark Bonnell and Carlos Orrego. Microforum expects to complete the deal by the end of this month.

P2Plive! technology enables immediate connectivity between a site visitor and an organization representative while capturing all interactions in a centralized database and monitoring quality of service. It enables a representative to”push” pages dynamically to a user who needs assistance finding products or services.

P2Pengine is a person-to-person affinity marketing system that rewards people for their activity on a site. It has profiling and personalization, matching and connectivity, and online community technologies meant to increase loyalty and stickiness to a site while enabling the site owner to target the right information, products and services to members.

Microforum Inc. is a North American digital business transformation company providing electronic commerce, Internet strategy and database services. It’s headquartered in Toronto, with offices in Halifax, Vancouver, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle.
