Lariat Software announced this week the availability of a new suite of analysis tools, along with an advanced content production and management application.

For large sites with streaming media, Lariat Stats 2.1 analyzes user consumption and server performance, while for smaller sites the
vendor offers Stats Snapshot 2.0. For content production, Station Manager
offers a complete solution for both intranet and Internet broadcasting.

Speaking in support of the analysis products, Drew Cummings, president of
the Alternative Entertainment Network, said: “Lariat Software is the only
game in town when it comes to stats analysis and reporting of our RealVideo
and RealAudio usage on AENTV.COM.”

Lariat Software said that online broadcasting “is nearing mainstream
adoption,” and that demand for suitable management and distribution systems
is increasing rapidly.

Station Manager features four main components: modules for recording and archiving program scheduling; play list assembly and delivery; and program guide creation for the end-user.

Lariat now has a full range of products for analyzing, producing, and managing streaming audio and video content. For information about prices, platforms and delivery, see the vendor’s site.
