Pixelpark Forms Partnership With Intershop

Pixelpark, a full-service digital agency
in Germany, and Intershop Communications Inc., a provider
of electronic commerce software, formed a strategic alliance.


Intershop will provide e-commerce software for Pixelpark’s locations in
Berlin, Hamburg, New York, and Paris.


The partnership news arrives along with the agency’s announcement of its
newest office, Pixelpark France, scheduled to open August 3 in Paris, and just
over a month after the opening of Pixelpark USA in New York.


Intershop said it
will work with Pixelpark to help deliver service and products to the agency’s
e-commerce clients throughout the world. Financial terms of the arrangement
were not disclosed.


Paulus Neef, founder and chairman of Pixelpark, said, “With the continual

Intershop 3 offers an integrated transaction server, four-tiered architecture,
Hybrid HTML, distributed load balancing and availability for the Sun Solaris
operating system, and can give hosts the capacity to manage thousands of
online
stores with millions of transactions per day.


Pixelpark’s clients include Adidas, Conrad Electronic GmbH, Deutsche Telekom,
Unilever, Lufthansa and Siemens.
