Red Hat Earnings Ahead Amid Partner Push

Red Hat is poised to report its quarterly numbers, but if recent news emerging from the enterprise Linux vendor is any indication, we’re likely to see continued evidence of Red Hat benefiting from beefed-up partnership efforts and inking new customers as a result.


Datamation takes a look at new partnerships, partner support efforts and other developments coming out of Red Hat Summit this week.



The past year has been a good one for Linux vendor Red Hat (NYSE: RHT), and as it looks forward to its fiscal 2011, the outlook remains strong. That’s due at least in part to new customer wins and partnership initiatives the enterprise Linux player unveiled this week.


The earnings report comes during the Red Hat Summit, where the open source software vendor is hosting customers and partners to discuss their latest innovations.
