    DENVER, Sept. 5–TeleTech Holdings , a
    fast-growing global provider of customer management and B2B infrastructure
    services, announced the acquisition of Contact Center Holding, SA,
    one of Spain’s largest privately held customer management companies. The
    acquisition strengthens TeleTech’s
    global reach, while capturing market share in rapidly growing European
    countries such as Spain. TeleTech purchased CCH for stock, valued at
    approximately $100 million via the issuance of 3.264 million common
    shares.

    CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Sept. 5–THQ Inc. announced that it has acquired game developer Volition,
    located in Champaign, Ill. and a leading high-technology game developer for
    next-generation console systems and PC. As consideration for the
    transaction, THQ issued approximately
    890,100 shares of common stock, assumed existing Volition stock options providing for
    the future issuance of approximately 109,900 shares of THQ common stock,
    and assumed approximately $500,000 in net liabilities.

    DULLES, Va., Sept. 5–America Online , a
    leading interactive services company, announced its acquisition of
    iAMAZE, a San Francisco-based Internet technology company
    specializing in Web-based applications created in DHTML, or “Dynamic” HTML.
    AOL said that iAMAZE will help further strengthen its
    services by providing Web-based applications from this platform with the
    speed and functionality of traditional client-side desktop applications,
    like online slideshows, a Web-based word processor and calendar. Terms of
    the acquisition were not disclosed.

    the leading provider of network-attached data access and content management
    solutions, announced a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held
    WebManage Technologies of Chelmsford, Mass., a developer of content
    management, distribution, and analysis software solutions. With the WebManage acquisition, Network Appliance is positioned to provide
    end-to-end solutions for enterprises and service providers. Network
    Appliance will acquire WebManage for approximately $75 million in common
