DENVER, Sept. 5–TeleTech Holdings , a
fast-growing global provider of customer management and B2B infrastructure
services, announced the acquisition of Contact Center Holding, SA,
one of Spain’s largest privately held customer management companies. The
acquisition strengthens TeleTech’s
global reach, while capturing market share in rapidly growing European
countries such as Spain. TeleTech purchased CCH for stock, valued at
approximately $100 million via the issuance of 3.264 million common
shares.

located in Champaign, Ill. and a leading high-technology game developer for
next-generation console systems and PC. As consideration for the
transaction, THQ issued approximately
890,100 shares of common stock, assumed existing Volition stock options providing for
the future issuance of approximately 109,900 shares of THQ common stock,
and assumed approximately $500,000 in net liabilities.

DULLES, Va., Sept. 5–America Online , a
leading interactive services company, announced its acquisition of
iAMAZE, a San Francisco-based Internet technology company
specializing in Web-based applications created in DHTML, or “Dynamic” HTML.
AOL said that iAMAZE will help further strengthen its
services by providing Web-based applications from this platform with the
speed and functionality of traditional client-side desktop applications,
like online slideshows, a Web-based word processor and calendar. Terms of
the acquisition were not disclosed.
