Travelocity.ca Redesign Features VIA Bookings

[Toronto, CANADA] – Travelocity.ca’s new design is meant to provide members with direct access to online travel tools, offering quick click options for travel services.

It is the first major full-service travel site to offer direct online booking capability for VIA Rail Canada. Members can make train reservations for VIA’s services in the corridor between Quebec City and Windsor and all western and eastern routes. In addition to general information, the VIA Rail area offers route and station maps, baggage information and multiple ticket collection options.

The site now offers direct online booking capabilities for vacation packages with Canada 3000 Holidays. Members can plan, price and book for vacations online from packages and vacation deals.

It also features a best fare finder which enables members to search for the lowest available airfares. Results are displayed via an interactive calendar that highlights the days the fares are offered.

The hotel mapping feature lets members view accommodations, via an interactive map, from among 47,000 properties based on city or points of interest, such as Stanley Park and the Botanical Gardens in Victoria, BC.

The Destination Guide provides information to more than 450 global destinations by combining content and perspectives from Frommer’s, Lonely Planet and The World Travel Guide. Additionally, members can check weather forecasts, read reviews, look up exchange rates, and create custom mini-guides.

Travelocity.ca provides bilingual customer service, 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. Answers to frequently asked questions can be accessed through
the Customer Service link on the homepage. If more assistance is needed, trained online travel professionals can be contacted by calling a toll-free number provided on all booking confirmation pages and reservation e-mail communications.
