New site highlights company’s focus on data protection and storage solutions
Quantum Corp. announced that it has introduced a new Web site, www.quantum.com, to highlight the company’s focus on data protection and storage solutions. The announcement follows the news on April 2, 2001 that Quantum exited the hard drive business to concentrate on its data protection and storage solutions businesses. The new Web site details Quantum’s storage solutions products, services and strategic focus.

“The new Web site not only conveys the company’s category leadership in DLTtape drives and tape automation systems, as well as its leadership in network-attached storage for the workgroup, it also educates the user about our future in storage solutions,” said Paula Silva, online marketing manager for Quantum. “We have created a site that is easy to use and packed with useful information for our customers, the analysts and the press.”

Visitors exploring the Web site will be able to review Quantum’s enhanced product offerings in network attached storage (NAS), storage area networks (SANs) and DLTtape(TM) products for data protection. The site also provides information regarding Quantum’s background and history, investor relations, recent media coverage, upcoming events and recent Webcasts, press releases and articles.
