VERITAS Software Corp. this week announced that VERITAS Software will support IBM’s recently released IBM e-business infrastructure offerings. It is a continuation of a series of cooperative efforts between the companies.
The IBM eServer e-business infrastructure offerings are package-priced hardware, storage and system software with optional middleware and services, designed to provide pSeries customers with reliable, flexible and affordable infrastructure foundations, for building and running eBusiness applications.

The combination of VERITAS NetBackup with IBM’s infrastructure packages brings down the overall cost of computing for p640 and p660 users.”
