Western Digital Appoints Controller

Western Digital Corp. announced the appointment of Joseph R. Carrillo vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer. Carrillo joined Western Digital in 1993, and has served as senior director and corporate controller since August 1999.

Western Digital chief financial officer Scott Mercer said the appointment “recognizes Joe Carrillo’s leadership of the Company’s finance and accounting team and his tremendous contributions to the Company’s progress in challenging business circumstances.”

Carrillo is a member of the AICPA, the California Society of CPAs, and Financial Executives International.
