[Montreal, CANADA] – Trader.com, a provider of print and online classified listings has acquired Visitenet.com. The Montreal-based site specializes in resale and rental real estate, and builds on Trader.com’s print based real estate services throughout Quebec. The acquisition of Visitenet.com is Trader.com’s first online real estate Web site in Canada.

“Visitenet.com is a strategic addition to our online offering, with a
variety of real estate listings in Quebec and the Ottawa area,” said Louise T. Blouin McBain, co-chief executive officer and chairman of Trader.com.

Trader.com plans to integrate Magazine Immobilier, Magazine Immobilier Laval-Rive Nord and Magazine Immobilier Montirigie with Visitenet.com listings.

With the tools on the site, users can look for properties in French or English by specific area, type of property and price range.

Visitenet.com provides users with specifics about each location listed
including the number of rooms and general characteristics about the unit. The
detailed listings also showcase photos of each room in the unit as well as
exterior photos of the neighborhood and building, allowing users to get a more accurate view of the unit available.

The site also has a 360 degree panoramic view of each unit, allowing users to obtain as much information about each online listing as possible.
