HP to Brand Brocade 64-Port Integrated Fabric

Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. this week announced today that the Brocade SilkWorm(R) 6400 64-port integrated fabric solution will now be offered under Hewlett-Packard Company’s HP Surestore brand to provide a high-port density networking foundation for HP SAN solutions. The Brocade SilkWorm 2800 16-port fabric switch and SilkWorm 2400 8-port fabric switch are also resold to HP customers worldwide.


“We welcome this further expansion of our relationship with HP,” said Jack Cuthbert, Brocade Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Support Services. “Brocade is pleased to work with HP to provide the HP Surestore FC Switch 6164 to its many storage customers, making available the industry’s most cost-effective, manageable solution to support the deployment of large SAN fabrics.”
