NTP Software, a developer of Storage Resource Management products, this week announced the release of NTP Software StorageReporter(TM) 3.0.
NTP Software said StorageReporter offers a comprehensive set of pre-defined reports and drill downs that include system and volume status, usage by user and department, policy status, file aging, trend analysis and forecasting. It also includes an object library from which users can create their own reports, or it can be used to embed storage reports in other applications.
According to NTP Software, it first offered storage reporting in 1997 with its Storage Accountant(TM) product. The company said StorageReporter leverages the technology first developed in Storage Accountant and extends it to include heterogeneous file systems, server and line-of-business applications.
