Tivoli Systems Inc., an IBM company, announced new Tivoli Ready benefits and seven new product certifications into the Tivoli Ready program.
A product bearing the Tivoli Ready emblem indicates that it has been integrated and tested with a specific Tivoli product or solution. The company said Tivoli Ready products enable business partners to offer seamless integration with Tivoli-managed enterprises to provide true end-to-end IT management functionality. According to the company, since 1996, more than 190 products from leading technology companies have met the requirements of Tivoli Ready certification.
“Tivoli Ready certified Business Partners ensure that their customers are investing in a qualified solution that interoperates with other complementary solutions available in the market,” said William Potratz, manager of Worldwide ISV Alliances for Tivoli. “Tivoli Ready makes it easier to manage a e-business infrastructure within the context of a larger enterprise environment.”
New certifications for Tivoli Storage Manager, Tivoli SecureWay(R) Risk Manager and Tivoli SecureWay Policy Director include: Systor Security Solutions’ Security Administration Manager; Nishan Systems’ SoIP Element Manager 1.0; Beta Systems Software AG’s BETA 28 System Management Integrator; Gresham Enterprise Storage’s Enterprise DistribuTAPE EDT 6.2.0.2; OTG Software’s DiskXtender 2000; Sanctum’s AppShield; and Candle’s Roma BSP 300.
In addition, Tivoli announced immediate availability of enhanced Tivoli Ready marketing assistance materials, including a revamped logo and style guide.
